Eviction on Delinquent Land Tax Property

To set up an eviction on a Delinquent Land Tax Property; you will need to come to our office at 1305 Locust and fill out a request for Writ of Possession application. Once an eviction is received, the Clerk/Scheduler will contact the landlord to see if the Notice to Vacate is required. If the Defendant(s) still reside in the property, the Clerk will provide the assigned Deputy with the papers to post. The Deputy will post the Notice to Vacate the day it is received or no later than the next working day. Following the posting of the Notice to Vacate the scheduling Clerk will contact the landlord to schedule the Eviction.
 
Please note that any eviction done on a Delinquent Land Tax Property must be filed though our office. There is no charge for this service.
