The Purchasing Department provides centralized procurement of all required supplies, materials, equipment and professional or general services for the 16^th Judicial Circuit Court of Missouri.  The department staff employs 4 purchasing agents who oversee the procurement of all major renovation projects, professional services, equipment and other commodities.  The buyers are responsible for establishing contracts to ensure an immediate and uninterrupted source of supplies for the court.  The buyers also actively participate in cooperative purchasing with other governmental entities and the State of Missouri to obtain volume pricing and reduce duplication of effort on common purchases.  The purchasing staff are members of the National Institute of Govermental Purchasing (NIGP) and the MOKAN Council of Public Procurement (MOKANCPP) and Missouri Association of Public Purchasing (MAPP).
