Notice Regarding Downtown Courthouse Elevators 

Jackson County has issued a notice that the Schindler Elevator Corporation is beginning work on the west side elevators in the downtown courthouse.  On Wednesday, March 4, the company will install barricades on the ground, 1st and 11th floors.  The barricades are about 8 feet tall and will be set back about 3 feet from the elevators.  The barricades are needed to isolate the work area for the safety of the public and employees.  The County will be providing updates on construction progress.
