Judge Patrick C. Edwards was appointed to Division 4 on Nov. 22, 2024, by Gov. Mike Parson.
Judge Edwards previously was an assistant United States attorney with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri, where he had worked since 2013. He supervised a team dedicated to prosecuting narcotics and violent crime cases.
Prior to that, Judge Edwards was an assistant prosecuting attorney, trial team leader, and chief trial assistant in the Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office from 2005 to 2013.
Judge Edwards earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2005.
