The Appellate Judicial Commission  has announced the three nominees whose names will be sent to Governor Michael Parson for consideration for the judicial vacancy on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Western District.  Here is a link to the news release.

Sarah A. Castle was appointed by Governor Mike Parson on January 29, 2020 to be the new associate circuit judge of Division 27.   The governor’s news release is linked here.

Circuit Judge George E. Wolf of Division 11 has announced that he will retire as of March 16, 2020.

“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the State of Missouri as a trial judge,” Judge Wolf stated.  “My time on the bench has been the most meaningful and rewarding part of my 33 year career.  The judges of the Sixteenth Circuit, currently lead by Presiding Judge David Byrn, are the most dedicated professionals with whom I have ever worked.  They truly are committed to the fair and impartial administration of justice.   I am proud to have served with them.”
