POSITION PURPOSE AND EXAMPLES OF WORK:

POSITION PURPOSE: To provide centralized filing, copy, facsimile, mail, scanning, and other immediate general office duties.

MAJOR TASK STATEMENTS AND REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES (Percentage of Time):

SUPERVISION OF: None.

SUPERVISION BY (Include level of Supervision): Assigned Supervisor or Manager of Unit provides general supervision.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY:

PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS USED: Computer, Lektriever, telephone, desk scanner copier/printer/scanner/fax, Judiciary operating rules or handbooks.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

(Education above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required general experience.)

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: One year general office experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:


KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge, skills, and abilities required to function at an acceptable level in the position. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work environment and facilities required to work in as well as physical demands and/or mental requirements. (This is not an inclusive list; other tasks/duties may be assigned.) CLIMBING – 5% of time – Required when climbing ladder to retrieve files.

LIFTING/CARRYING - 5 lbs. – Required when reviewing files.

REACHING/HANDLING – Required on most tasks.
