POSITION PURPOSE AND EXAMPLES OF WORK:

POSITION PURPOSE: To support and promote the best interests of abused and neglected children under court jurisdiction through participation in development of service plans and client and service provider interaction.

MAJOR TASK STATEMENTS AND REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES (Percentage of Time): (The information contained herein is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job; other tasks/duties may be assigned. Management reserves the right to amend and change responsibilities, work shift/schedule, facility, or department to meet business and organizational needs as necessary, including but not limited to the re-assignment of employees and positions, elimination of positions, and opening, moving, or closing of facilities and units.)

50% Attend and participate in meetings.

20% Visit children in placements. 15% Monitor compliance of court orders and case progress. 15% Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISION OF: None

SUPERVISION BY (Include level of Supervision): Managing Attorney, Guardian ad Litem Services provides direct supervision. work is reviewed through case conferences.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY:
Internal: Attorney’s; provide updated case information and service recommendations.
PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS USED: Computer, telephone/cell phone, copier/printer/scanner/fax, keys, various computer-generated and handwritten forms and reports, vehicle, GPS.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
