Salary:	County Paid Position - Non-exempt Grade C 7 - $19.45 Hourly

Salary Range For Internal/Rehire Applicants: $19.45 - $29.17 Hourly

BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY:

To develop, coordinate and provide the training program for Family Court Services.

Identify training opportunities, review and evaluate the applicability and quality of content and delivery of said training opportunities
Conduct training sessions
Assess and determine training needs which involves consulting with staff and management and review of staff job criteria and tasks
Compile and compose training manuals and other materials
Solicit verbal and written feedback from instructors and participants to evaluate and modify material or worthiness of vendor to meet or exceed established objectives
Coordinate training events by scheduling dates, sites, accommodations, consult with staff, on an individual and group basis, to determine skill-specific training needs
Assess performance and provide appropriate training tools or recommendations to supervisor for skill enhancement
work with staff that volunteer to conduct trainings to develop skills and techniques; obtain training or certification in order to conduct required training
attend various and required work-related meetings, conferences and seminars

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral or Social Science, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Education, or a related field
Two years in behavioral or social science work OR two years in activities related to training and/or staff development
(Education above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required general experience; experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.)
Experience with Adobe Presenter and/or Adobe Captivate preferred
Knowledge of instructional methods and training techniques
Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing
Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Ability to operate a variety of standard office equipment, including a personal computer
Ability to learn and utilize complex computer software, ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to use multiple approaches when learning or teaching
Ability to speak publicly in an effective manner
Ability to work with a diverse work force.
