POSITION PURPOSE AND EXAMPLES OF WORK:

To provide filing, copy, facsimile, mail, scanning and other immediate general office duties.

MAJOR TASK STATEMENTS & REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES (Percentage of Time):

25% Creation of personnel files

25% Sort and file personnel documents 25% Data entry and scanning of documents into electronic files 10% Copy and fax documents for staff 10% Search, retrieve, and return personnel files in a central records area 5% Perform other clerical duties relating to operation of the assigned unit
SUPERVISION OF: None.
SUPERVISION BY: Unit Manager of Shared Services provides general supervision.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY:
PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Computer, copier/printer/scanner/fax, telephone, desk scanner, and Judiciary operating rules or handbooks.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

(Education above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required general experience; experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.)

EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: One year general office experience is preferred.
