To receive, store, inventory and issue diversified supplies, equipment, foodstuffs, and other items. Maintain computerized data and produce internal printing jobs. MAJOR TASK STATEMENTS & REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES: Percentage of Time 45% Receive in, verify and examine delivered goods and commodities, stock shelves, fill and deliver orders, perform physical and computer inventories and maintain in computerized system, and track purchase order activity.
SUPERVISION BY: Supervisor, Warehouse provides general supervision.
SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY: INTERNAL: All levels of department and division staff on a daily basis in providing products and services such as supplies, meeting setups, printing and binding forms.
EXTERNAL: None. PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Hand truck, pallet jacks, calculator, requisition forms, computer generated and handwritten reports and forms, computer and keyboard, and telephone.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required general experience; experience above the minimum stated may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required education.) EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE: One year directly related warehouse experience, which should include at least two of the following: material handling, inventory control, and order entry.
