Salary Range For Internal/Rehire Applicants: $1789.60 - $2687.20 Bi-weekly

To provide computer system solutions to users through troubleshooting, conducting need analysis, recommendation/development and implementation of application/system designs.

55% Propose and implement new data processing solutions.

• Investigate feasibility of application design approaches
• Determine best solution to satisfy user needs
• Facilitate subsequent modifications and conserve resources
• Advise users of solutions and recommend design of applications, systems, procedures and standards
• Recommend language platforms for new development
• Develop new systems, methods, and applications
• Design application logic and perform coding and testing functions
• Design and implement interrelation's of files and records with applications which will fit into overall project design
• Compile and write systems documentation of application development, logic, coding, corrections and subsequent revisions
• Work with other Programmer Analysts in the implementation of new applications and apply approved recommendations
• Identify and research user problems and create documentation to explain issues and formulate problem statements.

• Work alone or with other Programmer Analysts to update and correct existing data processing systems, methods and applications.
• Analyze, review, alter and rewrite applications to increase efficiency or adapt to new requirements and apply approved recommendations.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, test and document existing applications.
• Identify and research user problems and create documentation to explain issues and formulate problem statements.
• Investigate feasibility of alternate application design approaches to enhance operating efficiency.
• Analyze and recommend redesign of data processing applications and procedures.

• Confer with users to determine and clarify application intent and objectives, data input requirements and output requirements.
• Develop written and oral specification regarding users application intent and objectives, data input/output requirements, internal checks and controls.

• Compile and write systems documentation of program development, logic, coding, corrections and subsequent revisions.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Associate Degree level course work or trade school education in computer science or related area, with an emphasis in programming.

Primary skills - SQL, ASP.NET VB & C#, Cognos, Jasper (Java based), Windows, MS Access, and SQL Server
Other skills - Oracle, Report Builder, Classic ASP, Cool Gen, Crystal Reports

Four years directly related work experience inclusive of two years at a Programmer Analyst II level, with experience in Microsoft Access and SQL Server.
