POSITION PURPOSE AND EXAMPLES OF WORK:

To provide a variety of secretarial and administrative services for a Director, Administrator, and/or the department to which the employee is assigned.

MAJOR TASK STATEMENTS & REPRESENTATIVE ACTIVITIES (Percentage of time):

35% - Departmental Budget


30% - Maintain badging system.
20% - Provide customer service and perform related administrative secretarial duties.
10% - Type, edit, prepare, and maintain draft memos, reports, forms, letters, and other correspondence/materials.
5% - Maintain filing system; sort and distribute various materials.
SUPERVISION OF: None.

SUPERVISION BY: Director or Supervisor of unit to which employee is assigned provides direct supervision.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY:

PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS & MATERIALS USED: Computer, telephone, copier/printer/scanner/fax, court orders, and various reports and forms.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
