POSITION PURPOSE AND EXAMPLES OF WORK:

Research, recommend, implement, evaluate, and monitor the development and implementation of programming operations of various services offered by Family Court Resource Services, such as mediation, parent awareness classes, supervised visitation, victim services, and juvenile justice (JAC -Prevention and Diversion). Provide varied professional and specialized analytical assistance relative to organizational, operational, and planning issues. Participate in various research, data collection and analysis projects; formulate, implement and evaluate the results using research principles and methodology.

50% Provide program development services for all Resource Services programs

30% Provide research, evaluation services for all programming 20% Create and publish reports, marketing information, brochures, guides, tools for all Resource Services programs
SUPERVISION OF: None

SUPERVISION BY: Work is performed under the general supervision of the Unit Manager, FCRS-Juvenile Assessment Center or the Director as assigned. Work is monitored by observation, results of assignments and projects, deadlines met, and personal consultation.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITY:

Internal: All levels of Family Court staff. To provide training advice and assistance on programming services and community resource partnerships; ensure information concerning programs is updated and disseminated to staff; exchange detailed information or resolve varied problems.

External: Stakeholders (persons/groups/agencies) including but not limited to county legislature, Office of State Courts Administrator, law enforcement, school districts, mental health and substance abuse treatment providers, neighborhood associations, and the public. To serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the Court by opening lines of communication for problem solving, development and strategic issues facilitation.

PRIMARY EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, MATERIALS USED: Personal computer; printer/copier/scanner/fax; telephone; procedural and technical support manuals and guides; diagrams and layouts; computer generated reports.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Master’s degree preferred, but not required. Bachelor’s degree in Social/Human Services or law related field.

EXPERIENCE: One year of relevant work experience in non-profit or government agencies, such as developing and evaluating human services programs; data analysis; and experience in elementary, secondary or adult education.
