Rule 6 - Assignment of Judges, Cases, and Transfer of Cases

Rule 6.2.5 - Duties of Family Court Administrative Judge

In addition to administering the Family Court Division and handling cases assigned to the Administrative Judge of the Family Court Division, said judge shall have the authority without further order to: (1) hear and rule on requests for temporary orders in family court cases; (2) supervise and/or enforce local requirements relating to mandatory parental education and mediation in individual cases; and (3) perform such additional functions as in his or her discretion are reasonably necessary to perform the responsibilities of the Family Court Administrative Judge.
