Rule 100.4.8 - Storage of Notes Upon Retirement, Termination or Death of Court Reporter


1. Upon the death of a reporter, it shall be the duty of the replacement reporter, under the supervision of the Chief Reporter, to see that all of the deceased reporter's stenographic electronic notes or stenomask electronic audio files, and backup audio, are properly stored on the Network repository.

2. Electronic or digital files containing the official notes of the courtroom proceedings taken by any retired, terminated or deceased reporter shall be retained as hereinbefore set forth under the supervision of the Chief Court Reporter.
