Guardian ad Litem Lists and Standards

The Administrative Judge of the Family Court requests that all attorneys who have not already done so and are interested in serving as guardians ad litem in juvenile and/or family court matters, complete the affidavit included on this web page and submit it to the Family Court by mail, courier, or by scanning and emailing it to the Office of the Deputy Court Administrator, 625 East 26th Street, Kansas City, MO 64108; attorneys may electronically attach their signature; electronic mail: irene.martens@courts.mo.gov. Attorneys may submit these affidavits at any time.  The list of approved guardians ad litem will be updated from time-to-time as attorneys are added to the list.

The 16th Judicial Circuit implemented the Supreme Court of Missouri Standards for Guardians Ad Litem (also available on this web page) on July 1, 2011.  Appointments are being made from the list of approved attorneys (see below)
